Still recovering from the First Annual Rough Branch Writers Retreat in the beautiful Hoh Rain Forest. Rough Branch is an organic farm I have frequented over the years, and it's one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Rough Branch had writers from Seattle, Portland, and Cincy in town for the weekend. The workshops consisted of authors, journalists, and editors from Real Change, Street Roots, the Peninsula Daily News, and the Seattle PI. Mostly though, we just got smashed. On Saturday, we camped on 3rd Beach near LaPush, and continued the debauchery, and to be honest, we are all better for it, run on sentences or not...
While it will take me a week to recover, I am already looking forward to the Second Annual Rough Branch Writers Retreat.
